Very much a product of my mother Louella, I have inherited a lot of her creativity!
My design journey began growing up and working alongside her in her bridal business aged ten. This is where I discovered my creative passion for colour, fabric and fashion.
The early part of my career was spent in the world of fashion, particularly ladies tailored clothing. I have worked in various roles, including design, sourcing, buying and account management, which allowed me to travel extensively across the Far East.
Living in India was an invaluable experience, enriching me both professionally and personally! Eventually, I returned to my roots in Yorkshire, settling down and starting a family. I worked for a well-known Interior Design Retailer for many years before finally taking the leap of faith to set up Sally Wallace Interiors.
The decision to ‘go it alone’ was driven by my love of creating interiors and the meaningful relationships I can build with clients.
